About Kayla Nazilli
Welcome to KN Therapy. You might be wondering about me, who I am, and what my credentials are. This is a brief bio, but feel free to e-mail or call me if you have any questions! I am a Registered Psychotherapist practicing in Toronto. Personal experience and working in this field have shown me that therapy is absolutely transformative. I have a deep appreciation for this psychotherapy, and feel incredibly privileged to offer mental health services.
I studied at the University of Western Ontario, hold a dual bachelor’s degree in Biology and Medical Sciences (BSc), and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University.
I also completed additional training in experiential therapies (Polyvagal therapy), humanistic and emotion focused therapies, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy (SFT) at OISE, trauma training for first line responders through SickKids hospital, and Gottman Level-1 training for clinical work with couples through the Gottman Institute.
As a therapist, my personal philosophy is to work from a strength-focused from your personal life lens and set of experiences. I collaborate with my clients who enter the therapy room for many different reasons, and provide non-judgemental and unwavering support. It is my goal to help you not only live your life - but thrive.
