Appointments and Fees
Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length. I use the remainder of the therapeutic hour to maintain case notes that relate to treatment planning and our work done in session. The total duration of counselling is something that we decide together, and it has flexibility to change as we move forwards together based on your needs and goals.
The services provided by KN Therapy are not covered by provincial health care insurance plans (OHIP). Often, extended healthcare plans obtained independently or through employment provide often cover a full or partial amount of the fees for seeing a healthcare professional. The cost of psychological services may also be deducted as a medical expense on your income taxes.
KN Therapy charges a fee of $195 per 50-minute session.
Clients will assume responsibility for the full fee of an appointment that is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
